RIP :(

Nancy M00re 03-19-2009 08:30 AM

Omg, this is so weird the way it happened.
My sons go there to ski all of the time.

kmanrox 03-19-2009 08:42 AM

never heard of her, but god bless her loved ones... RIP

The Seduction of Art 03-19-2009 08:46 AM

It is pretty tragic. At least it didn't turn into a drawn out Terry Schaivo affair.

Tanker 03-19-2009 08:47 AM

I was there snowboarding over the weekend

It was my last trip for the year to the slopes and there was lots if very solid ice on the ground I bruised my ribs after flying like superman down a run

Vicious_B 03-19-2009 08:52 AM

Its really sad. I feel for her family losing her so suddenly.

Tanker 03-19-2009 08:55 AM

I do find it odd that they said she had an unspectacular fall but insisted that she be taken off the mountain in the sled and get off the slopes

people fall down all the time and are not told to get off the slopes and rest

hell I fell down 30 times the first time I tried it.

Reak AGV 03-19-2009 08:57 AM

RIP Natasha, you're missed :)

Tom_PM 03-19-2009 08:57 AM

When I think of all the times I fell on my head or got hit in the head or face when I was growing up.. man I was just lucky I guess.

Fabien 03-19-2009 09:44 AM

Now watch our "good medias" take over the story and the fact that we must wear a helmet when skiing.

Scott McD 03-19-2009 09:47 AM

RIP Natasha :(

John-ACWM 03-19-2009 10:20 AM

That explains a lot :winkwink::winkwink:

Seriously though, so sad to see someone lose their life over such an everyday type accident.

The media is already starting to get into the blame game. The Globe & Mail is reporting that paramedics were "turned away" when they responded to Richardson, but were then called again later when she collapsed in her room.

Let's see how this plays out, and whether or not it results in some sort of inquest and/or legislation or procedural changes that cost huge amounts of money by doing something ridiculous like requiring that paramedics be called, respond, and treat all persons who fall on the ski slope, regardless of apparent severity and/or lack of any injuries. I know that may sound extreme, even ridiculous, but then again extreme and ridiculous is often the route taken by politicians, particularly when in so doing they can make it look, to the public, like they are actually doing something.

Liam Neeson has played SO MANY characters who's wives have died... Bah

Cash 03-19-2009 12:33 PM

The accident is really stupid and tragic ... It must be a tragedy for her husband, Liam Neeson, to see his wife die out of nothing ... I liked her as an actress, she looked very cute as well, God rest her soul ... :(

LoveSandra 03-19-2009 12:51 PM

really sad

VeriSexy 03-19-2009 10:05 PM

May she rest in peace

EthnicLover 03-19-2009 11:13 PM

That's horrible. I can't imagine going through that. Liam Neeson has always seemed like such a decent guy.

r.i.p.

pornguy 03-20-2009 06:00 AM

I always thought that she was kind of cute. Good actress.

RIP. Poor kids.

JimmiDean 03-20-2009 06:05 AM

She also refused to wear a helmet durring her lessons.
That mountain is only a few miles from me and this time of year is more like a bobsled run with all the ice.

kmatic 03-20-2009 09:21 AM

This is sad

Bomber8888 03-20-2009 10:11 AM

I was just there at Mont Tremblant in January, and my buddy broke his arm. Its pretty easy to break something while skiing or snowboarding. The media is already starting to make buzz about making helmets mandatory now for ski slopes. I think its a good idea.
