Some guy is submitting galleries to my site which does NOT accept gallery submissions
 

This guy is continually submitting galleries to a TGP I have that does NOT accept gallery submissions (It links only sponsor galleries). I have a 'submit site' button for traffic traders which clearly states "Do not submit galleries here", and there's a link to point to galleryspots.com for that. He submits his galleries with that button every day... Is this shit happening to anyone else?

I reply to EVERY one of his submissions. It clearly explains that he is just wasting his time if he does it again. But he just keeps submiting galleries... I though I was on a submission program, but it's all the same redirection to the sam sponsor page, so I can't be.

The galleries are being submitted from a number of domains. When I got to the root of the domain, they ALL forward to this page: warning: pop-up hell!:

Who is this guy? How do I contact him if he doesnt read his emails? Does he realize he is only wasting his time? I don't get it with these people... I can just ban his email address and domains (I have blacklisted the domains from my trading sites already), and he can just keep on it at wasting his time...

I had a guy doing that for about a year. On the bottom of the submit page there was a link "Click HERE to trade Traffic with Booty UP", the dumb fucker would pass by the gallery submit form, click that link and enter the info into the trade form.

I finally banned his domians from trading (but not submitting) and never heard from him again. This business is full o' tater-heads.

Blacklist his domains from your trading script. It does have a blacklist, right?

This has been going on for years for me -- these fuckers add you to their auto-submit scripts...

Solution is easy: Rename your submission cgi filename.

Vince (at least I think it's you)...you should know why he hasn't responded to you...you sell econfirmpro on your own site, so chances are he never ever even checks his email.

(hmmm...after reading the thread again, this may not be Vince...but he was complaining about the same domains...so if you are not Vince..then pleae discount my comments as the natterings of an insane fella).

Juge - I'm about ready to strangle this fucker too! He keeps submitting to me without any contact info (his name & email addy), and I don't list anyone unless I have their contact info.

I was able to cum up with the following email addresses for these domains of his:

Maybe they'll be of some help to you, although he's never responded to my emails and he just keeps on submitting.

He uses the emails [email protected] for each of the domain names. Easily ignored by him, if he doesn't use 'em. I am going to follow the fly's advice, it's the easiest way to stop this dumb fuck.

I thought Fly's advice was good also, and plan to implement it today. I've had quite enough of this asswipe!

Another solution: How can you make the script only execute if it is spawned from your own domain name?

A simple referer or cookie check could do that...although both are still bypassable with someone who's got half a programming brain (although it's obvious the guy above doesn't hehe).

I implemented thefly's idea. I also made the old script name report an error and explain that the person loaded an older cached version of the page, for those people who, by chance, have not loaded the current page. It may happen to people who have already submitted sites and are going to submit more.
