Msft OFFICE 2007 - what fucking POS crap!

I was using office 2003 for years. Then I got a new computer and found out my Office disk was all fucked up and I couldn't install it. So I go to a buddies house and play around with his 2007 to see if I like it. I wasn't that impressed so I just made the switch to open office and have been very happy with it.

Office XP... seems XP was a good marker for working software with Microsoft.

It indeed was Vrocks.. I cant stand all the widget-baby-coloured-icons-mumbo-jumbo

It seems like they went out of their way to make it difficult to use.

Office 97 forever

It's not that hard to use, just takes a little bit of time like most software.

Office 2007 is great, especially Outlook which blows away the previous versions. The backwards campatibility thing is a pain in the ass, but other than that I like the newer versions and have been using them since Beta.

Not sure if you're joking, but I am still using office 97 myself whenever I can.

I couldn't get it to install on my new machine with Vista Ultimate though, so I went with OpenOffice instead. Funny how the newest version of OpenOffice is almost exactly identical to Office 97.

I run office 97 on all our XP machines and it works perfectly.
