Cheney called his former chief of staff I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby "an innocent man" who deserved a pardon from Bush. The issue of pardoning Libby was a subject of intense disagreement with Bush at the close of his presidency, Cheney said.
How can Cheney actually sit there and say he was innocent when he was the one who helped push it out or actually did the leak of CIA operative back in 2003 himself ?
The best part is that Cheney and Bush had a lot of friction in the White House in the final days and from what the interview showed on CNN they are not on the best of terms because of this issue.
What I don't understand is what Cheney is smoking these days to call "Scooter" Libby "an innocent man" ? :1orglaugh
