Went To The Fair This Weekend..........
I can not believe what a money pit that was
It was $9.00/adult to get in You had to pay for tickets to ride the rides- witch is normal. You had to pay cash to play any games you can't use your tickets You had to pay $1.00 to see the worlds smallest horse and $1.00 to see the worlds largest pig. To get a bottle of water its was $2.50 so for a total of $60.00 we got to ride 3 rides, played one game and got one water What a rip off. |
Hey...check your thread about the phone. My girlfriend still wants it and asked about it not 30 minutes ago.

Got nickeled and dimed did you.
Sorry tro hear. |
Yeah, yet those same places complain when numbers of visitors drop.
I'm actually finding it quite funny now during this "economic crisis" at the shops, theme parks, everywhere really which ripped us off for years, now complain because people are throwing their money at them anymore... |

I went to the NY state fair once.. I dont even remember any prices because there was no space to think about anything. All I remember is jamming my wallet in my front pocket.. just in case.
It was so loud I couldnt hear anything but a din and clamour. A sea of people washing this way and that, more like a tide than a crowd. GF and I made one quick lap and directly back out. It was truly an unpleasant experience, despite all the upbeat wholesome advertisements lol. I cannot imagine a circumstance that would ever get me back there. :error |
