Webside Billing, Good? Bad? Ugly?

friend of mine asked what I know about them and I don;t know much...
can anybody shed any light on them?

StacyCat 11-21-2002 07:31 AM

Nothing too bad. A few checks sent out late. Bad customer supoprt (its e-mailling my account manager to get an answer in a few days, phone support was nothing.)

When I switched to globill, with no other changes, I doubled my income.

marty 11-21-2002 07:35 AM

GloBill is cool.

Just wish I had their ICQ support number though.

Serge_Oprano 11-21-2002 07:46 AM

do any "big guys" use them?

I hear WSB dropped them, from someone who does merchant accounts independently in LA, they were trying to open one for them, apparently too much fraud.

Serge_Oprano 11-21-2002 09:30 AM

$100,000 question:

if you processed $100,000 a month,
would you give them YOUR business????

SIMPLE yes OR no will suffice

TazBo 11-21-2002 10:03 AM

We use WSB for all of our sites and we have never had any problems.

Drop me a mail at [email protected] and I'll make sure you're taken care of immediately. In many cases if it's just a new website, not a new account you can just go ahead and set it up and use it. LMK

StacyCat, please let me know what the issue was and who your account rep was. I'd at least like to make sure that any problems we may have get fixed.

BTW that marketplace is experimental for a new billing model we're playing with. There's a .co.uk version too with some other sites. Neither is of course a comprehensive list. People like their privacy too much in this biz.
