I'd rather stay home and work on a Friday night than go out, is this normal?
 

Something tells me this isn't healthy but I really really have fun fuckin working.

That's abnormal really, friday night I'm sick and tired of working. I rather go drink in a pub and get laid :)

ive been doing that every week for 10+ years now, lately its been nice just to stay home away from all the drunken drama

mmm same here actually.... I don't have fun per se ... but I do know what I want and how much I have to work to get there....

Same here usually.... though last Friday went out drinking, but it messed up my Saturday since I was just too tired to do any constructive work.

I tend to work my ass off and don't got out that much anymore.. Once or twice a month max I'll go out and have a drink.
I make up for it every few months and take a week or two break usually in thailand, where I spend my time usually relaxing in the day and partying hard at night.

I'm the same as you... I actually enjoy working more than getting sloppy drunk and getting knocked around in the club by every retard gangster wanna-be.

Being addicted to work is much better than some of the other addictions I've had. ;)

Same with me, I'm starting to get sick of the partying, pretty much mostly because my group of friends are retards when they get drunk, especially the one I'm with the most, my brother. Ever since he turned 21 I've had to babysit him when we go out drinking and I got pretty much to the point where I naturally cut myself off drinking before I get more then a buzz going for the fact that I usually have to take him home because he gets so fucking drunk he can't even stand up.

I partied enough for 6 lives already. Going hard.

I've been feeling that way too. I think it's the porn thing.

Because you wouldnt see me doing some other type job on a Friday night :)

what is normal anyway? Normal to you is not normal to me, you might like a big butt plug in your ass while your girl talks down to you. That might be normal to you but not to me LOL, you get my point. We normally go out on Tuesday because we are not in high school anymore and it is the same as Friday except you have less people to deal with.

99% of people go out fri/sat because they work mon-fri 9-5, and probably get home by 6-7 and then go to sleep until next day to wake up at 6-7am... people who are their own bosses don't need to do that, therefore going out on fri/sat is nothing special really, everyday is like fri/sat...

there is no friday, monday, thursday...there's only workday or fuckday. :)

i always skip out on the weekend parties, it's become kind of a running joke that i don't go out fridays or saturdays unless its a really special occasion. i'm more of a weeknight partier myself. big fan of monday or tuesday drinking.

Thats the difference between you my friend who enjoys what he does instead others who just have a job...but make sure you flush the brain with something sometime of the week it can be Monday morning for all you know....

Me too man, I find myself chilling in the hot tub on a Tuesday afternoon, and burning the midnight oil on a Friday night. Fuck what wageslave society says about when you should work and when you should have fun, and when work is fun, what is the difference?

I can't recall the last time I went out to a bar or club. I'd say most of my Friday's are spent at home.

Friday is generally thought of as the night to unwind after the long work week. But in our industry there isn't a set schedule of 9-5/M-F. Don't worry about following the structure of the norms!

I don't like what most people find "fun" I don't like social settings, I don't like people etc. I rather stay home and do whatever I want all the time.

Sometimes I feel the same way(It's no use spending time with some people that you tell yourself they are friends but you know they aren't.Spending quality time with true friends is always fun)
