Web Development Question
 

I have a friend who is looking for an application from where he can upload pictures to some type of script and it will create a gallery on his site.

He doesn't have any web development skills. This is a portfolio of houses he has built. The key is for the end user to be able to upload the gallery by himself with any help.

Outside of using some open-source or inexpensive image gallery script, he should probably save himself a lot of headaches by just hiring an inexpensive coder to make one.

The easiest website program microsoft front page...has a function with some templates...that will automatically create a gallery for you.

If he just needs a free script he can search these.

He just wants to select the image and upload. No software

Not sure exactly what he is looking for, but for my mainstream website I use http://www.webshots.com/

I upload my photos, and use the slideshow flash embed script, and the photos just rotate on my site. It works and looks great.

Why not just use Flickr?

He wants it on his server, not another service
