Wow, that is pretty amazing. Sounds like a good friend to have, most "friends" would have turned and tried to save themselves.

Tiger sharks are VICIOUS. They are up there with Hammerheads.

When I read an article on it, it mentioned that one of the first things the guy did was slash his gills, meaning the shark would have died, but probably a slower death, so the guy kept at him more to put him out of his misery quickly than just let him sink and die a slow death. That changed my perspective on it as at first I thought he was in this raging 2 hour blood battle to save his friend when in reality it was more to finish the shark off

I have a baby shark in a glass jar from when I was a kid...

I often worry about it coming alive busting out of the glass jar and killing us all.

Don't even look like the same tiger shark. First one looks like pup..

he wanted to do it as humanely as possible so he dragged the shark backwards by the boat trying to drown it... makes no sense to me.

Pretty cool, but if that shark is 12ft then that diver must be over 8ft!
