Try selling a phone on craigslist...
 

and you'll get about 50 emails from scammers asking "is item available" to "my niece need phone in Africa, I pay you money order, you ship to her. thank"

I was cleaning up my office yesterday and found my Google G1 Android phone that I bought from Tmobile when it came out. Thinking it would be a cool phone (ha what was i thinking), I picked it up and unlocked it so it would work with AT&T. Either way, I never used it and tried to sell it on CL before and got the usual flakes.

I know its probably hard to monitor and stop scammers, but I cant imagine how many people get ripped off on a daily basis by the thieves that wonder around on CL

that's why you have eBay so if you want to sell it - sell it there...
