Looks like sales are going back up

February sucked, but it looks like March is picking up the pieces! yay.

Anyone else seeing sales up? Hopefully summer will not be too painful.

Time to get to work to help keep those summertime blues to a minimum when sales taper off a bit. :upsidedow

Are you working harder this year to keep things up? I've changed strategies a bit, seems to be working. :thumbsup

TheSenator 03-13-2009 08:28 AM

nah....March started off slow and continues to be slow.

I have revamp my ads, added new sponsors and just cleaned stuff up.

the state of the industry is worse and worse overall... be glad that you can compensate for it by working harder or trying new techniques..

Sales have been climbing steadily since December for us (thank god!). The last half of 2008 was terrible for us.

Reak AGV 03-13-2009 09:14 AM

Sales are doing pretty good so far this month

tranza 03-13-2009 09:22 AM

Yeah, hope they keep going that good...

Anyone who says they're doing well is lying.

That's what the nay sayers have been saying.

We're still showing growth, 10 months straight now.

There's still money to be made if you aren't stuck in a rut and actually think about your business.

Naw, if people don't believe me that's perfectly fine with me. Homegrown is going into its 27th year, we'll still be here on the other end of this crisis stronger and more determined then ever.

There is seriously an ass ton of money left to be made. :1orglaugh

I'm no "player" but have always thought ahead when building pages. A lot of times I am glad I did not invest too much time in one place.

Diversity is good. :)

Exactly. Plus if you apply the smarter not harder mentality to it, you can really refine the process. We've reformed our staff to be far more efficient, we've got some amazing talent in our pool and we're still expanding. How many companies are still hiring for NEW positions today? :)

As posted in the Senator's other thread. Our membership sales have been on the increase the past couple of weeks.

They have been erratic and down since 4th quarter last year (Oct/Nov). Clips and other sales have remained solid. Keep in mind when I say down, I am talking maybe 15-20%. Not 40-75% like many claim.

Furthermore, I am not saying the economy, or people are buying more now on a whole. I have been doing other things to generate more traffic and sales. So it could just as easily be that. More targeted traffic.

well i respond to what i read, i am surprised by the line, thats all. So i take it, you dont believe it then :1orglaugh

Fletch XXX 03-13-2009 10:23 AM

and the reason i am surprised is because i am working with clients right now that used the term "very well" to describe their status, and they are placing more and more orders, I doubt theyd be ordering more this year than last year if that wasnt the case.... so yeah, I dont believe that anyone who says they are doing well is lying, which is why i quoted you. its simply not the case across the board

but i hope everyone is doing good including you :thumbsup

ps: i see what you meant by context, i post fast man, im not reading every word on this forum lol
