I'm finishing a complex website and I need to test it against common attacks and vulnerabilities (injection, etc.).

How would I go about this?

my grandmother is a hacker. always coughing and hacking.

Is this proprietary software or what? You should be more concerned with looking through the code. SQL injection can be taken care of easily by sanitizing input. Sadly, lots of people totally ignore that.
