Cam girls : Got any extra cams for sale?

I'm looking to purchase a used cam to help a friend out starting in the cam business.

I figured some of the cam girls on the board might have an extra cam laying around they don't need anymore.

Contact me on ICQ 9117840 so we can work out a deal.

NoWhErE 03-12-2009 07:17 AM

Bump....

StaceyJo 03-12-2009 08:37 AM

Good luck on searching.

minniesoporno 03-12-2009 03:23 PM

If your on rude, if you get one cam they give you one free, if your already working cam yourself you can go on make an account and get enough credits so you can get your friend a cam I got 8 cams that way.

xsabn 03-12-2009 03:26 PM

1 cam is ~ $30

CyberAgeGary 03-12-2009 03:27 PM

Are you pulling a Juaquin Phoenix right now?

Come on dude, they start anywhere from $9.95 up to $49.95

grumpy 03-12-2009 03:34 PM

better leave this business if you cant spend 29.99 on a cam

Zuzana Designs 03-12-2009 05:13 PM

He's needing a nice camera with pan, tilt and zoom. I recommended Canon VC-V4 (which is what I used on cam), but he's looking for something in a lower price range

minniesoporno 03-12-2009 06:45 PM

I use a Sony HC62 and a remote pann and tilt, ebenk automatic pan and tilt head, the 8 other logitech (logitech pro9000, logitech comminucate MP and STX) cams are for my voyeur cams.

AaliyahLove 03-12-2009 06:48 PM

I'd recommend you get her a cheap Logitech cam they have decent ones for cheap, and after she makes her first $150, go on Ebay and get her a Sony EVI-D30, its the shit ;)

I used a Sony EVI-D30 on flirt4free also. I'm on my 3rd one, the first one I had was already 3 years old and it lasted me another 2 years until I accidently pushed it off of my desk while moving furniture. They are GREAT CAMERAS!
Brand new they are about $1500 but I have found one for every girl that works for my studio for 120-170 (one girl lucked out and got hers for 100!) with remote and everything needed. I was even nice enough to buy it for them and take the price out of a series of paychecks :)
The only thing you want to be careful of (I should of mentioned this when I first posted abt this cam) is some girls have probs with it on Vista. One girl had to buy some sort of converter thing that converts the cam's plug a USB plug. After that she got it working just fine just like any other USB webcam but afterwards couldn't get into the cam's settings to adjust the colors and all of that. I'm sure there is an easy way around all of this, I'm just not that tech savvy and obv neither is she :)
I still say it's the best webcam for the job, the zoom is so great, I can cover an entire computer screen with my clit :)

AaliyahLove 03-12-2009 07:37 PM

but it sounds to me like Nowhere isn't interested in the BEST cam for the job, he just wants the cheapest easiest one he can get, am I right? If so, the cost of shipping would be equal to the cost of just going to a best buy or walmart n buying the cheapest one they have? I have extra cams for sale but they might be outta ur price range... ?

Yes we know you hate me, but I still have 6 years of being a camgirl, and been through a good amount of webcams in my time of being online til current days.

I have started off with a JVC when I was in a studio it wasn't pan and tilt but I did make good money in my early days, then when I went off on my own I started off witha Sharp-DL100, then a JVC-290 and now a SONY-HC62 if you did reach on the camera models I gave you would know they are $300 to $500. As for the logitech camera they cost about $50 to $130.

So yes I am giving webcam equipment advice, and from the looks of it he does not want it, and I will give webcam advice anywhere I see fit. if you do not like you can just stick it up your ass.

and also the ebenk automatic remote pan and tilt head. was purchased on ebay about approx 180$ usd/cad dollars I got it when the dollar was at par.

LOL! I don't HATE YOU I just think you make stupid choices, and should not be giving out advice! Like posting lines like "Yeah, I'm racist, so what?" (you admitted to being racist and "hating white bitches in this industry" more than once.. IGNORANT)
Or how about when you made a post that said "I work for so many webcam companies I can't even keep track or who I work for anymore, which sites do you guys think I should continue to work for?"
Or how about the fact that you've been in this biz for 6 years but still make $40 an hour and complain all the time about how ur soo fn broke?
You have developed quite the reputation on this board and in this industry little girl.. The list goes on and on hunny.. so anybody who takes webcam advice from you is being lead in a wrong direction, I just hope they all know that. I'd HATE to see any new girls in the biz follow ur advice and end up like you.

Tell her to upgrade to Sony Evi D70. Works great on Vista. No problems at all. Hit me up(I only wish you would, BIG FAN) if you want more advice.

Alrighty, I hadn't checked this thread today since I hadn't had a response the 2 previous days.

I am looking for something in the 200 to 300$ range.

No 30$ cameras won't do, the quality isn't there....

I tried getting some on Ebay, but either I lost the auctions or the prices became ridiculous.

Going to hit up Aaliyah now

Ok I just checked out the Sony-Evid70 and compared it to the 30.. Other than the zoom being a bit better (18x compared to 12x) and working with Vista, are there any other advantages that you know of? Have you worked with both cams?

This is what the website had to say about it: Compared to its predecessor, the EVI-D70 camera offers a wider pan/tilt range, and a faster pan/tilt mechanism
which doesn't seem like a big deal to me..

Thanx a lot for the info I just might have to upgrade now!:) And thanx for saying you are a fan, that's very sweet :) XOXO

Sharp DL 100 was about $300 when i get I got it, the JVC-290 was a gift from a fan, and he SOny HC62 I got it for $450, Logitech Orbit webcam is great a lot of cam models use it.

You dont need to get the SONY-EVI models, you can get a remote control pan and tilt head you mount the camera on the pan and tilt head and it makes it a world of ease to monuver the cam in any direction.

Logitech Orbit is better then the Logitech pro 9000. because of how easy you can move the Orbit camera in any direction with ease.

Are they broadcasting on multiple sites, you can use splitcamera, superwebcam, manycam, or camtwist if your a mac user ( camtwist for mac users only)

Yeap, worked with both of them, liked better EVI D70. Better response time, less problems, bought my first one 2 years ago, or so, still operational, couple of scratches on it (unexpected meeting with the floor a while back :)) ). Overall the best one for me, bought 13 so far and using 11, 2 for replacement, never used them yet, didn't have to. Also less connectivity problems on either XP or Vista.
I added my email now so if you need more please contact me.
Glad I could help in anyway.

Thanx so much for all of this info, I am def going to upgrade thanx to you! I put the 70 on my amazon wishlist in true webcam girl fashion and I will start hinting to my members tonight, hopefully someone will buy me a brand new one soon :)
Let me ask you one more question, when you use the 70 on a Vista, how did you plug it into your computer, an S Video? Also, are you able to adjust settings (colors, contrast, all of that)? I lost all of that when I switched to Vista and had to plug in thru USB, and ever since then no matter what I do with my lighting the colors have never been quite right.. (the customers def don't notice but it drives me insane hehe)

BTW nowhere, I got ur email and I will reply tonight after my shift :)

Reak AGV 03-15-2009 02:25 PM

One cam should cost you 30 bucks max

I always used the S Video cable and adjust all the settings via TV Tunner, seemed easier that way. When you say that you connect via USB did you mean that you use an external capture card that converts S Video to USB? If that is the case I suggest that you download and install the latest driver for that specific capture card or at least check out to see if there is a more stable driver that the one you have at the moment.
Hope it helps and good luck with the whislist! :thumbsup

I thought using a mini dv camcorder with an osprey was the old school way of doing it when webcams sucked. Is this method still the best?
