Meta tags - are they still useful?
 

Just wondering if it's still necessary to put meta tags for search engines on web pages nowadays. Who knows?

fyi meta tags are not just description and keywords. They are very important ones, but there are different meta tags that help the user agent decide how to display the content

A lot of smaller search engines rely heavily on them. It is at least worth taking the time to fill them out.
