blocked from searching google, WTF?
 

i just got blocked from searching google, it came up saying:

"your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application"

this was when doing normal searches.

might be old never happened to me before, this a new feature?

i only had to do a captcha thing to sort it tho.

I had this happen to me a few months ago, also had no idea why. I switched to a proxy for a few days.

what did you search for.

just general stuff, don't even remember.

Interesting, try running a virus scan/spyware/malware scan?

Are you trying google.com
try google.us google.ca google.co.uk ect... see if that helps

Happened to me a couple of weeks ago too.

seoquake causes that often

ah, i use seo quake so i guess that might be it.

It happens because you make "dubious" and/or excessive amounts of queries. F.ex if you search for footprints of easily exploited scripts that is the response you will get.

well that is funny and probably true how all you in here is lickin up on my ass hole like you love my colon flavor. All the hate about my music and poetic nature unfolds down to a google search of "Improvisational Rapper Buttsecks" .. I guess I need to make a few rock tunes to to drop the words of "Improvisational rock legend buttsecks" to new hights...

Being banned from google would suck.
