My brother got caught speeding.... Going 170mph (270km/h)

He got out of it within minutes talking to the police. Were with a group of italian sportscars, full of italian journalists - in the italian speaking area of Switzerland. Talk about being lucky.

There are speed ways in like africa with no speed limit in the inner lanes.. same thing as regular american high ways you just have to stay out of the speed lanes if yer not planning on going that fast.

60 to 140 in like 2 seconds drop shifting to 3rd on the freeway in my 91 celica with a turbo engine.. havent pushed it to the max yet but I have so much peddle left it isent funny.

I mentioned this before, but wehere I am if youi get caught doing 50KM's over limit they will suspend your license for 1st offence + a hefty fine, second offence, they will seize the car and crush it:(

I had some pretty reckless high speed runs in various high powered cars when I was younger... Pretty damn lucky I never got caught :Oh crap

I like to follow the speed limit, but then again, I'm a pussy. When it comes to driving, I think if everyone followed the rules of the road.... everyone would be happy.

I speed everywhere I go .. have my whole life .. I truly think there should be a course or different licensing that you can earn .. based on a course and vehicle .. specially with some of today's vehicles .. better brakes, handling, acceleration, airbags, electronic traction control.... Bikes included .. Fuck I have a 08 chrysler town and country van for the wife and work stuff and with it's 270bhp and all wheel disk brakes, traction control and such .. easily hums along at 120mph .. at 85-95 mph it feels and drives like it is doing 40-50 mph .. and that's just a Van in today's market ....

They add a 120% penalty assessment to all fines. That $500 fine is closer to $1,100.

1 offence of dui you gotta breathalizer strapped in your car now.. getting nuts on fines out on the roads today.

How is everyone doing with the stop light cameras.. seems they were everywhere for a second.

I always thought it's just standard 20mph+ fine... which is like $200 or something... :(

Speed does not kill stupid drivers kill. The Autobahn in germany proves that with lower accident rates than most us highways and freeways.
