Chretien GOFUCKYOURSELF! Our system needs to be changed. I live in Quebec & taxes here are the highest in North America, imagine here we pay taxes on top of taxes, is this fucked up or what. I incorporated in Quebec, the biggest fuckin mistake I ever did in my life. I will be going offshore, anyone as any pointers on how to open a company offshore?

Canadian government is bad i agree, but you pay more taxes on the provincial level than federal. It's in part because of our oh so great healthcare system (being abused by every fuckin immigrant around) and our wonderfully flexible unemployment compensation system (every fuckin immigrant once again abuses it and sends the money back to his family in his shit country)

I used to live in Ottawa, Ontario but I got very bored & moved to Montreal. I love it here, its a great city but they need to do something about our taxes. They are even saying they need more money for health care, does that mean an increase on tax? The people should do something about this. We live our little lives & let the big guys eat us down. Most of the people should not pay their taxes next year & see what happens.... This could be a way to show their anger against taxes.

Fuck them, I am moving on a island somewhere, far away from this bureaucratic world we are living in.

The best solution for us is to get souveraign. No more fucking canada bullshiting us. We don't need to pay Chretien any tax since the Canadian gouverment don't give a shit about the provinces anyway. All the provinces should build their own country and keep the tax money for them.

For your corporation taxes... well basically your first 5 years are 100% tax free in Quebec. You will only pay bs taxes to the our so lovely useless Canada. (Except if you make over 200,000$/year)

The system in Canada is all focused on poor & low income people. Which is fine for them as they get lots of breaks, but the rich are getting ass fucked.

The problem with that is, many people who become rich in Canada decide to move.

Making over 100K your looking at around 50% tax, plus there is always sales tax and GST which is another 14-15% on everything you buy.

90% of the population just loves it.
Its the guys losing half their salary to tax who hate it. But most of them move out so they don't care for very long.

Ifyou are born into a high-income family you'll probably end up living a high-income life, and sadly if you are born into a low income family, you'll probably end up living a low to no income life. I'm not saying its imposable for a poor person to rise out of the ghetto and make a living... but its a lot harder for them than anyone else.

So before you whine about paying your high taxes (which i pay a shitload of myself) just be glad you can afford to, and live in a nice house.

Canada rocks! Those same taxes that you complain about are one of the reasons why the Canadian dollar is so weak. A weak loonie means more money in the bank. Sure we pay more in taxes, but we make more selling in US dollars but living on Canadian dollars.

Tell the Pequistes to stop using our hard earned money for fucking referendums that cost millions upon millions of dollars just to fucken prove that the majority want to stay Canadian. If they would have saved the cash of every Referendum, our social systems wouldn't be suffering.
