Back from the hospital, sorry for my absence
 

To whoever i'm doing some projects with i'm sorry for my absence the last 2 weeks.

About 1.5 weeks ago comming back from a soccer game a drunk driver fell asleep at the wheel and hit my car on the drivers side.... my car is total and i spend two weeks in the hospital.
I broke four ribs and left leg, they had to remove my spleen and my backbone took a serious hit. Anyway, i won't be flying for atleast a month or two so i have time to pick up where i left and will get things organized again in a week tops.

Barefootsies: I'll start everything up again on Monday and hit you up on icq.
For all the rest: i'll be available on icq starting Monday, need to spend some time with the kids and wife for now.

Honestly i feel alot of anger and concentrating on work is my outlet for now. I'm trying my best to keep calm about this and put it in perspective.

I would imagine having something like that happen to you would fill you with anger. But you are on the road to recovery and back home which is a good thing.

Try to find some kind of creative outlet for that anger and put it to work for you. (I know that is easier said than done)

sorry to hear you were in the hospital. I was recently in one for over 3 weeks so i know how bad it sucks..

Drunk drivers should be locked up for a very long time! :disgust

In Belgium this all gets financed by insurance. I worry more about my ATP license than my ex-spleen at the moment. I won't loose it but by the time i recovered totally and allowed to go up again i'll probably be past the minimum flight hours so i might need to buy some sim and instructor hours. Since i am free lance i'll have to pay that out of my own pocket, i'll do my best to recover everything from insurance though as this is something that was not caused by myself.
