Fuck Help me Guys Get BACK on Track! See my DOMAINS and give me ADVICE after 10Years+

Hey Friends!

Listen, I need your big advice. I've been trying to think hard on starting a big network of websites. However, I got off the track since I got over many years TOO many different ideas, markets and niches. IT'S BEEN over 10-15 years now and I still haven't made a penny online with my amazing ideas and domains I accumulated over the years. You must be laughing now but the sad thing is that it only costs me to hire programmers, designers, marketing etc I get few visitors and they just come look and leave... Then I find new ideas or get demotivated and look for scripts online to build websites. I have now so many domains and software/scripts for various markets - and I CANT make up my mind on WHERE to start. On which market ADULT or MAINSTREAM such as Jewelry or Fashion I should concentrate and develop my network of websites using Adsense for example. Maybe you can really help me with some advice?

I am really lost over so many years but I also realize the competition is SOOO unbelievable especially in the Adult industry that I never had the courage to try it.. Cause I know you guys did a lot of excellent work and all of your websites look Beautiful and Rich. If I'll just make a small blog or few galleries by installing a Wordpress with a nice template .... Then copy/paste some images, videos and description from sponsors I won't go far. No one will know about this blog, I know I can buy traffic, but again it will cost me. People again will look and leave.

Here is the BIG list of my websites, please help me with advice as to where should I start, based on my domains and interests. I tried to register keyword rich domains and I believe some of them are really good. Please tell me which ones you like the most & if I should still try ADULT? Maybe with a partner?

1. AdultFreelance.com (DNS)
2. NightlifeTraveler.com (DNS)
3. Findblowjobs.com (DNS)
4. LearnOral.com (DNS)
5. FacebookID.com (DNS)
6. WildMontreal.com (DNS)
7. Zaveni.com (DNS)
8. DolceGabbanaFashion.com (DNS)
9. WearDesigners.com (DNS)
10. BidtoDate.com (DNS)
11. VotetoDate.com (DNS)
12. WelcometoMontreal.com (DNS)
13. JewelryInvestors.com (DNS)
14. GoldAsians.com (DNS)
15. losangeleswild.com (DNS)
16. BecomeTalent.com
17. montrealka.com (DNS)
18. changeschedule.com (DNS)
19. welcomemontreal.com (DNS)
20. mycampusfriend.com (DNS)
21. nightlifetraveller.com (DNS)
22. seducepeople.com (DNS)
23. designerclothesfashion.com (DNS)
24. designerclothingfashion.com (DNS)
25. wheretoimpress.com (DNS)
26. Commercialmedia.ca
27. DeputaMadre.ca
28. IphoneLance.com

Also, please tell me if anyone wants to join as a partner to develop with me any of these websites. I also own some software licences such as from Ilance.com

THANKS!

Jesus dude, you have some great domains, I cannot believe you haven't made any cash online. I could think of 10 easy ideas you could auto-pilot and make money, with domains like some of those.

GirlBri 03-05-2009 11:14 PM

some decent domains there. Good luck to you :-)

alexsosn 03-05-2009 11:17 PM

I know my friend thank you! I got great ideas... but like I explained, something is wrong man. I wish I could develop something big.. or start even small anywhere.. I am so lost. I think should I start with Adsense sites.. but where to take content???? or should I start with ADULT but it's already too saturated.. and I have trouble finding a niche... any advice?

pornask 03-05-2009 11:20 PM

Well, for starters you can use content from article directories, where authors publish articles with reprint rights. This will not result in any SE traffic, unless you manage to get some authority backlinks. Other than that, the way to content is the same as any of us - roll up your sleeves and get to work. Write your own content.

papill0n 03-05-2009 11:23 PM

If you haven't made a penny since you started you should probably get a job and do some more research/learning in the mean time.

I feel you man, I used to have the same problem. The answer is to just start small and focus on that ONE idea or ONE domain, and build it out. SEO it out, make it perfect in your mind as you originally envisioned it, then set it free online, and move to the next.

If you spent 3-5 days one each of you domains, you'd have 2 months of part-time work to do. After that period of time, go back to your first domain and see how you're doing, then adjust as necessary.

If you followed this cycle, just once or twice, within 6 months I am willing to bet you will see some really surprising results. Once you start seeing sales come in, your motivation and focus will get better and better, and eventually your empire will all make sense.

burntfilm 03-05-2009 11:25 PM

focus on growing one idea at a time, too many ideas get in the way. Pick ONE and work at it, when it's done, then start with the next one. The way you describe yourself screams ADD.

beat me to it. :thumbsup
but yeah, that's the idea

alexsosn 03-05-2009 11:34 PM

You are ALL absolutely Right! I need to concentrate on ONE idea... the problem with my personality is that I would start, but never finish anything. So people visit the site.. it's empty... so they leave (in the case of BidtoDATE.com) which I started to develop 5 years ago. Was a very original Dating concept which never took off.

Thank god I have a good job ;-) it's just hard to choose... LOOK how many ideas/domains I had over the last 10 years. I am not a programmer... so trying to make something custom always takes TIME waiting after programmers and money. so it's very hard to develop sites every 3-5 days ;-\

But I really appreciate your advice - it gives me some motivation...
Which ones you like best guys?

Loch 03-05-2009 11:38 PM

Seems to me that you could most likely sell some of those domains for a good mint!
Might be better then just sitting on them.

Hit me up tomorrow. It's too late, and I am too tired tonight to have a lengthy discussion about all of your properties and the potentiality of good money in them. Shoot me a message on ICQ - 360-205-474 - and I will find some time tomorrow to chat with you if you'd like.

alexsosn 03-05-2009 11:42 PM

Yes I heared this one -- selling them...
but if developped, they could be sold MUCH more than empty domains.. only maybe few hundrends? It's not fun.

It's my real estate I want to develop... maybe with some partners.

Also, your sig is fucked up. Fix the bold tags.

Mr. Stiff 03-06-2009 12:06 AM

You got some nice domains with potential there!
Just pick one, make a plan and stick to it.. Wanting to do too much will get you distracted..

I doubt it, people that pay well for domains buy them for their own projects.
besides you seem to have problems developing them so why not sell, find a good domain broker and see what they say.

Then again i know very little about domain names but from looking at some of yours they could be worth more then a few hundreds lol

Not to mention that selling some might just help fund the rest!

Or you could "cluster" similar domains :thumbsup

DWB 03-06-2009 02:12 AM

I know a guy in Thailand who made it a point to get to know every producer there. He takes notes, asks 1000 questions and even tries to sneak photos of the producers. My guess was he is going to turn us all into the police, which he did but before all that we spoke often about him making a pay site with Thai girls.

He said he has been "planning" his web site for 10 years so he can't actually build and release it unless it's "perfect."

And that is why he as failed at his web site. 10 years in the planning with no action other than to have all he other producers arrested, which in theory would have been great for his business. But after word got out he was snitch, he QUICKLY moved to the Philippines where he will probably plan another 10 years for making a website with Filipinos.

No real point there other than to say, FOCUS ON ONE THING and just do it already.

bbobby86 03-06-2009 02:29 AM

I don`t know how you don`t cash anything witn those sites...

sandman! 03-06-2009 02:33 AM

if you havent found a way to make $$$$ in 10 years i doubt anything posted in this tread will change that.

Find a good job and stick with it.

StaceyJo 03-06-2009 03:31 AM

Nice domains. Good luck on your sales.

Pick out one idea and domain. Forget about ALL the other domains for now. Focus on only that one. Put all your energy into it: build traffic, get hardlinks, optimise the fucker for search engines, etc. You will make money with it if you know anything about marketing. Only once it's got a stable, decent amount of traffic and income, move on to the next one. Repeat the process.

oops edit: I didn't read the whole thread, I basically said the same as newbreed.

tranza 03-06-2009 07:18 AM

Nice domain list...good luck..

HorseShit 03-06-2009 07:32 AM

waste of time for you

alexsosn 03-06-2009 11:29 AM

Thanks Guys for some inspirational advice!

MAINSTREAM Market: make money with Adsense and Affiliate links.

CONS:
1. I have no idea where to find CONTENT(EVERY DAY)...
let's say if I choose to write about Fashion on my domain: DolceGabbanaFashion.com
2. Once in place, no one knows about this blog, I have to create some incentives for people to want to visit back.
3. PPC cost money for instant traffic... Link Exchange/Trade I believe is not easy for other websites to agree to put me - especially if I have no Page Rank.
4. will only get me few $/cents with adsense a day which is not enough to reinvest to promote.

ADULT Market: make money with Affiliates by creating Blogs, galleries, Free sites, TGPs.

CONS:
A. Market is OVER saturated in EVERY possible Niches with excellent content & graphics.
B. some affiliates do not pay or have a high Minimum payment balance.
C. same like with Mainstream, no one will want to trade links if you have no Page Rank. What's in it for them to trade links with you?
D. People I believe, as we do, watch free porn and leave - since they have unlimited free porn sites available to them. They don't even need to pay to get satisfied, thus why buy a Membership to a Pay Site?

DEVELOPPING A NEW MARKET:
CONS:
1. A lot of WASTE of time to WAIT after Programmers to understand and do your project.
2. Takes a lot of Money to make a Custom made website for my New Market Idea which does not exist.
3. Once the website is done, again no one knows and PPC is expensive.
4. Empty Website with no members makes people not willing to become even free members so they come and leave with NO money again to me - after I already invested so much in it.

Do you understand my point here guys? If you can proove me wrong - maybe it will also help someone else. I already have a good job for last 7 years with the government but that's NOT what I plan and want to do for the rest of my life. My websites is my Real Estate I want to develop in order to quit my job one day and work only on that.

Your advice to pick up ONE idea is excellent, however, WHICH one is the hardest part of all since I see good ideas in all of them. And like I described above the CONS that make me stop doing them does not help.

Let me tell you about 1 of my ideas I developped:

FACEBOOKID.com:
The idea is for EASY to remember Nicknames which you can create for FREE by installing my application on Facebook. Such as my is: FacebookID.com/alex will re-direct you to my profile. During the re-direction, you have to wait 15 seconds on a transition page to either wait or visit some sponsors. I paid the programmer 700$ to code but I didn't see 1 penny back.. Since some people install it, create free Nicknames and that's it. No one is buying Advertising spots, or Premium Memberships which skips the transition page and go directly to Your Facebook Profile page.
The idea is that people can meet on the street, in the club, school, instead of spelling complicated family names or common ones Mr Smith names it's hard to find you... They can just create any nickname and say: just visit FacebookID.com/Alex or /xxx to add me as a friend.

SO I did this idea and nothing is happening.

seeric 03-06-2009 11:30 AM

edit: nm

XPays 03-06-2009 11:51 AM

get rid of the facebook name asap - tm'd

alexsosn 03-06-2009 06:12 PM

I know it's TM but they even agreed to add me to their business directory of applications - after reviewing. so it's all good. It's a free service for everyone.

shunga 03-06-2009 06:33 PM

You just made a list of CONS. No PROS.

If you haven't made any money at this over ten years perhaps you'll find your answer there. If you want it, make it happen; don't waste time talking yourself out of it.

alexsosn 03-06-2009 06:40 PM

Yes but these are important factors to consider before choosing What to start. so far I see all these CONS/Negative aspects which are the reason of difficult decision making and choosing that ONE IDEA to concentrate on.

If you can proove me wrong of what I said - you are welcome it will help answer a lot of people I believe some good questions. Especially the newbies.

chupachups 03-06-2009 06:41 PM

First advice; Seems you are using 1and1, am I right? Transfer to a proper registrar like Namecheap

Second advice; Why Dreamhost?

alexsosn 03-06-2009 07:00 PM

what's the problem with 1and1? it's much cheaper than any other ones.. cause it includes free Privacy which cost 8.95$ with others.. there you get it for free!

Dreamhost cause it's very userfriendly WebPanel & amazing prices.. good bandwidth.. what's the problem with that hosting?

ChubbyChecksRob 03-06-2009 07:18 PM

good luck

alexsosn 04-09-2009 08:55 PM

ok anyone else with good advice?

domains aren't all that relative, it's about the traffic you can generate.

domains equal link juice and a catcy draw of what it is.

GAMEFINEST 04-09-2009 09:36 PM

good luck

Vjo 04-09-2009 09:51 PM

Maybe get into domains. I would put a price on all your domains. Money is money no matter how you make it. Maybe your domains will sell. You have a few decent ones. Before you know it your selling domains and making money.

Truth be told, that's why I'm here. I am contemplating putting up some pretty decent type in domains for sale.
Cash is tight.

For everyone, the results will be in the hard work and in the journey.

Journey, then results. No journey, no results.

Is it too late to begin the journey? Nah never to late. There are always opportunities. Get out and find em.

Will you find your fortune in yesterday's porn sponsors and today's tube traffic. Will any of us?:(

Good luck to you.:thumbsup

And good luck to us all. I think we need it.:(

Vjo 04-09-2009 10:11 PM

You been working on things for 10 years, sorry I failed to notice that..

OK. Like me I think your getting tired of the journey.:(

Best thing to do then? Consolidate, get all in order, run porn biz on auto pilot and get another job. Two srces of income.:thumbsup

MindWaste 04-10-2009 12:45 AM

porn for me is gonna come into play after im rich.. i dont even work nuch.. its gonna be my hobby and ill have alot of free time sence i a hermit and alwas on the net.
