Government bailouts' effect on foreign call centers

Anyone have any info on how the US Government's bailout of Citigroup might impact overseas call centers? These overseas companies have support contracts with Citigroup. Is there a "localization" provision in the bailout arrangement?

I heard about it today on the news indeed

I'm not sure if this is related but Accenture recently announced lay offs for contact center staffers in Manila, Philippines.

I heard they are bringing stuff here to Sao Paulo. Mostly accounting etc. I wonder if they even could do call centers here.

Interesting.

To have the US gov owning a company that pays offshore call centers would fly in the face of everything Obama is preaching about right now. Didn't even think about that.

I think it can get really complicated since most large companies (the ones being bailed out) have a high likelihood of having at least a few operations outsourced overseas.
