$200 billion of the national debt over the last 8 years can be attributed to the war in Afghanistan. Add in ntelligence agencies and you might get to $500 billion (CIA doesn't release budgets).

The $800 billion spent on Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with what happened on 9/11 and the Bush administration knew that at the time and even an idiot like you knows it now. Judging by administration statements before they took power, it probably would have happened regardless.
