Best overall PC video editing software
 

I'm looking for PC software that will edit and convert to/from as many of the most popular formats.. WMV, MPEG, MOV and Real Media.. as possible.

Is there a package out there that will do all that? If not, what is the closest thing? I have no experience with video editing, but I'm gonna need to do some soon.

I use VEGAS VIDEO by Sonic Foundry, and AVID DV w/ Power tools.

Vegas is fairly bing, bang, quick and easy.

I have only had the AVID for a couple months, and not had the time to really work with it that much. I will say this, my DV captures with AVID are amazing!!!!!!

Problem is....it has been very hard for me to learn.

Adobe Premiere. Period.
