I liked this new logo...:)

I saw that this morning and it actually made me smile. Green Eggs and Ham was the first book I ever read to myself without help.

Very well realised,
Colors are respected, Drawed with clean and nice design as if it was handmade. |

Geisel deserves a google logo as much as some of the others who get them.
One of my favorites, his war time stuff is great, its not all who who and whoville... his political awareness would surprise many... you think the star on the sneeches was just a star?? really, read the story again http://www.journalofantiques.com/images49/ws-Star.JPG his political toons outshine many of todays politcal blobs thats fure syure look up his work during the war, its dark stuff and very intelligent. |

I have long respected him a political commentator. I remember reading Yertle The Turtle and having it dawn on me it was about Hitler. I would have read that so many times as a really young kid and never got that but suddenly I did and then I wanted more of his political stuff. The picture of the who with a star is on a t-shirt I wore into the ground as a teen. |
This is one of worst google logo by my opinion
|
pretty cool :)

yeah many of his books were allegorical and brilliant - the last one he did like that i think was http://www.mtbs.com/bkbz/kidwar/02_bg.jpg i loved him - i went to the Smithsonian sometimes in the 80's when they had a big Dr Suess exhibit - i bought the poster and had it nicely mounted in a red frame - it's gorgeous. |
