Anyone with even a touch of sense understands at this point that "global warming" is just another propaganda scheme to justify massive tax increases (cap and trade, carbon taxes, etc.) and a huge expansion of government bureaucracy and power.

A bunch of scientists who are dependent on the same bureaucrats for grant money play along because it plays into their Marxist fantasies of destroying capitalism......... so they figure the ends justify the means. What is a little dishonesty when you are trying to create a socialistic paradise?

The simple fact is - the number of scientists around the world who support the theory that global warming is caused by Co2 has always been a minority. Al Gore's little movie has been proven to falsely portray data. Ice core samples have proven that increase in Co2 levels occur AFTER warming not before.

No one, on ANY SIDE believes that abject waste and misuse of the planets resources is a good practice. EVERYONE is for conservation & the development of renewable energy. But, to use FAULTY or misleading science to foster fear and force unnecessary, highly expensive cures for something that doesn't exist - is criminal.

Not being wasteful isn't bad at all. But if carbon emissions are restricted under the guise of global warming and the government can start telling you what you can and can't do in your home it's bad. This is as bad as banning anal sex or some sex toys in the bedroom under a guise of promoting better public health.
