I think/hope the Dolphins will sign Jason Brown, the center from Baltimore. He's only 25 and is the perfect upgrade for what the team is trying to do.

On another note, Al Davis is really senile now isn't he?

He's going to cost a huge chunk of change, but I would love to see the Dolphins sign Brown, too. I've read they want to move Satele to guard, but if Justin Smiley comes back healthy, and if Donald Thomas builds on what he showed us before he went down, then that would relegate Satele to a backup and probably trade bait for more draft picks.

Other than Brown, I wouldn't hate to see them also sign Bart Scott, the linebacker from Baltimore, but two big free agent additions would chew up a lot of cap space, and I'd be just as happy to see that position addressed in the draft. I see Todd McShay has us picking James Laurinaitis with the 25th pick, which could be interesting...

I don't think Brown will cost a huge chunk of change. Centers are the lowest paid offensive lineman, and this year's draft is deeper at center than any draft I can remember.

My guess is he probably gets something like the 5yrs/25M that they gave Justin Smiley last year.

Satele isn't going anywhere. Smiley's and Thomas's injuries last year just prove that you need quality depth, and that's what Satele will be. He's cheap too, so that's a bonus.

I'm not sure about Bart Scott...I guess we'll see. He is going to be really expensive which is why I think they'll pass.
We definitely need a middle linebacker though. They may choose to adress that with one of the high picks in the draft. (We have our 1st and two 2nd's this year)
