Another one gone.

Man, that's a shame. I like James Coburn. I just watched Monsters, Inc. in which he was one of the voice actors. He had a lot of cool roles and was a great bad guy. Too bad.

He ruled in "Affliction" and "Hudson Hawk". Plenty of other films, too - these were just ones I remembered quick. Too bad, he was a cool old fucker.

A real shame. May he RIP.

Most of you are too young too remember but his "In Like Flint" films back in the 60's were so cool. He was in "The Great Escape" another classic movie.

God, so many big stars have passed on in the last few years.

He was the epitome of cooool. From the old WW2 movies to the present. We'll miss him "like a rock".

I saw " harry in your pocket" as a kid in the 70's and he has always been one of my favorites since seeing that movie..

I just finally got around to buying The Magificent Seven on video and will pop it into the VCR and give it another watch...........

What a shame! I remember quite a few of his movies, especially Hard Times with Charles Bronson. He will be sorely missed!

Actually, only one more. Richard Harris just died a couple of weeks ago.

I remember those movies. "In like Flint" was one of them as I recall, and in it he had the coolest watch of any secret agent ever.

JC - coolest of the cool. I even liked his commercials on how to beat the slot machines. He'll be missed big time.

He was excellent in the "Draw!" together with Kirk Douglas. One of the best westerns I have seen!

I was watching Monsters Inc. last night and I said to my buddy, Geez, James Coburn must have died right after he made this movie. (I was thinking of Jason Robards).

I woke up this morning and opened my homepage CNN and there was the news about James Coburn. Eerie.
