 alexa?

i have few domains in range of 10,000-20,000 in alexa rank
does that mean anything? do you follow what alexa says? discuss |

Alexa is fairly on point nowdays. I don't know for 10-20k ranks, but the higher rank you get, the more accurate it seems to get.
It's pinpoint accurate difference between me and my competitors in my market. (Top 100-200 in the country). |

 can u give a sample?

don't know what to do with this. can this be sold just based on alexa rank??? |

I'm not using Alexa long time ago.

i would say it is a good indicator that people actually get the traffic that they say they get

do you have any idea what kind of site it used to be? |

yea i scanned the alexa list and got some of the expired ones.
haven't really seen the parked stats yet but they are getting traffic |

Well, I follow alexa....and quite frequently. I run a paysite that has an alexa rank of 18,583(http://www.alexa.com/data/details/ma...teurmodels.com) and it seems to me that alexa accurately measure the amount of traffic that the site gets. I am always checking on my alexa rank to see if it is up or down. Of course, I have a traffic stats system that displays the details regarding the traffic breakdown and so on but yeah, alexa is good for showing other webmasters little details on your traffic. So yeah, alexa can be useful at times.
