buffy is honestly one of the best shows on tv.. i can't believe im saying it - as it looks like a total piece of shit in promos.. but it's actually part of the whole self-referencing in joke type of thing that i dig and is pretty damn funny when it's not developing some ongoing storyline.. you'd be surprised at the viewing base.. i kinda thought it was for 14 year old girls when it first came out until i watched it.. my old boss used to really get into it too - middle aged and part owner of a listed company :)

anyways it's my secret shame.. plus willow is about the hottest thing on tv. i'll refrain from posting the pics..

Agreed, a couple of years ago if I saw buffy on television I would just change to another channel, but after watching a few episodes, we were kinda hooked... not a bad show overall...

Buffy is probably one of the best written and produced shows on TV. I'm not ashamed - any one who has actually watched a few episodes will totally agree with me.

I started off in the other camp - I rolled my eyes and ignored the first four seasons, then was totally sucked in.. The show kicks ass.

And yes, I do happen to have "Conversations with Dead People" on my hard drive. ;>

I'm kicking myself in the ass for not taping last week's ep. This season has been so on-and-off sucky that I was giving up on wasting tape...and then WHOOOBOY, here comes last week.

I'm not only addicted to Buffy, I'm a complete and total spoiler whore. I went to read the wildfeed so I could find out what's going to happen tomorrow night, and the guy who usually does the wildfeed recap is out of town!!! Buggering hell. Now I have to just wait and chew my nails and be unspoiled like everybody else...

I used to watch it every week until buffy died in the season finale.
It hasnt been the same since.

Keep her. Buffy's behavior lately makes me want to clock her over the head with a brick. I'll just keep Spike and Xander all for myself, though...

I heard a lot of hardcore fans dropped out last season, but I don't really understand that - the show can't be all campy fun, and last season was great. Well written.. The musical episode blew my mind it was so well done.

Anyway, awesome show. I only wish I got freaking UPN on my dish so I didn't have to snag it off the internet.

fuck. i was looking for episode names and some fuckwad had a "tara is my favourite dead character" thing without warning of spoilers (not that it is a spoiler to americans though i guess)

I never liked her anyways though.. Oz was a thousand times better.

i liked hush or whatever the one where everyone lost their voice was.. the one where the vampire willow from the other dimension got summoned.. the one where buffy could hear thoughts.. beh.. theres fuckloads of them.. those are just repeats i've seen lately..i dig the funny ones more so than the storyline ones.. kinda like how i think the x-files is better when they're dealing with unique situations and monsters than yet another one incrimentally searching for the "truth".. you miss a week and you're out of the loop..

Btw, I heartily recommend Firefly to anyone here.. It's Joss Whedons new thing, and it's fantastic. Well written, great characters, totally non-PC.

Absolutely. The musical is fantastic. Okay, now I'm going to be forced to dig out the CD I burned of all the mp3s (I even found the bits with the Mustard Guy and Giles, Anya and Xander walking down the street and passing the lady trying to sing her way out of a parking ticket -- FYI, did y'all know who those two actors were? The Parking Ticket Lady is Marti Noxon, one of the writer/producers, and the Mustard Guy is David Fury, a producer. :1orglaugh )

My fave line from the Parking Ticket Lady bit is Giles saying that he managed to examine the bodies while the police were "taking witness arias."

Conversations with Dead People was great. One of the best episodes. I think I have it on my TIVO still.

The recent episode of Angel sucked in my opinion. But last weeks was fantastic.

Last Sopranos was also good, this recent one wasn't that great.

Haven't seen Firefly, will have to check that one out. What other shows are good ? I need to use this TIVO I bought recently.

Ya, I really dug that last episode. I wanna gush like a little girl and talk about ep stuff, but I don't wanna spoil anyone. The Aussies are a year behind for Petes sake - I'd go bonkers.

I don't watch a lot of TV.. Let's think, what DO I watch... Firefly, Buffy and Sopranos are the 3 big ones.. South Park when I can remember it's on..

I'm not much help here.. But check out Firefly - and don't be distressed by the "western in space" look. ;>
