Hey boys!

Okay so here's the deal. I'm a new girl and I want to know what a webmaster thinks makes a sologirl site good enough that he'll promote it. I've been content before and I've had websites but not a paysite so I want to make my affiliates happy for my first one!

I've spent the last few days surfing porn and bought a few memberships to see inside the member areas of a couple sologirl sites. I've also looked at affiliate programs some sologirl sites offered and I've been reading this board too.

I don't have a photo I feel comfortable posting as I'm not at home and only have access to my facebook photos but am going to take one tomorrow and post it as a reply to this thread as I know you'll ask for it! I been trying to get this account set up all day and have been anxious to make this post so please bare with me on the photo.

I'm 28 (real age, look 22-28 depending on hair/makeup/etc). I have a tattoo on my back, a tattoo on my tummy, a tattoo on one wrist, a tattoo on a forearm (not a sleeve, just a black design). I'm 5'8" and 105lbs, thin with small Bcups. I do not have piercings except naval. My hair is currently blue, I might dye it black tomorrow, I change the colour often, cut it, get extensions, etc. I just like playing dressup and that is why I'm really excited about this site! It's the ultimate game of dressup!

I plan to cover a lot of alternative sub-niches with several sets so that the different niches can be promoted:
Raver, Punk, Rocker, Balloons, Food, Feet, Peeing, Cosplay, Uniform, etc (please let me know what other niches might be good).

Solo to start, will add GG and BG later.

I know that I need to have a real blog, do shows, and have updates once a week at least (probably 2 updates a week, one a video and one a photoset) plus fan signs, panty giveaways and stuff like that. I plan to shoot 1 year's worth of updates before I even launch the site and to launch with 30 sets of 20 pics and 30 videos (is this enough for exclusive content for my niche to launch?).

So that is what I know so far, please tell me what else I should look into. And yes, I know there is not a ton of money to be made, blah blah blah. I don't really care about other people failing, I want to know what I need to do to have longevity and make my affiliates happy.

20 Photo sets would be fine to launch with... But You should be looking at a lot more than 20 pics per set... around 70 +

2 x week updates... hmmmm, Why don't you do 4 x a week updates and do self pics.. Show your members that your a real person... Not just another girl posing for $$$$$

I know for me I want the following things if I am going to promote a site:

1. A girl I think has a market. You sound like you do. I like alternative type girls and you sound like you fit that niche well.

2. Some decent promo content for me to use.

3. Her site looks good and is updated regularly.

4. The site is interactive. This is a must if it is a recurring only type of thing. If a girl does nothing with her site and never does shows or interacts with fans it gives very little reason for guys to stay around as members.

5. A "real girl" kind of feel. I like what AG said about self pics. You could do a really small update a couple times a week of just some self pics of yourself you took like, "Here is me getting out of the shower." or "This is me getting ready for bed" Or "This is me getting ready to go out." Cooking dinner, cleaning house in your bra and panties or nude, just fun stuff like that you could easily put up on the site.

6. The last major thing for me is the backing of some kind of major program and/or the knowledge that there is a decent amount of content out there to keep the site going. The landscape of the adult internet is littered with the sites of solo girls who were very into the site for 6-12 months then for any number of reasons (they meet a new guy, their family finds out, they get freaked out for some reason etc) they stop working on the site and it either sits there and collects dusts and doesn't rebill because it is not being updated or it gets closed down completely. If I have spent several months building up traffic and sites to send traffic to this site then it disappears, it was a lot of wasted time for me. If a bigger program is behind the site and/or there is a decent amount of content you can then rest assured the site will continue to exist even if the girl involved eventually bails out. I'm not saying you would do this, but there have been many who were good to go and looked rock solid then 6 months later are no where to be seen.

I have always thought successful solo girls are all about attitude and personality. Sure, looks are one thing and the guy has to be into your look, but in the end he needs to feel like he is your internet boyfriend of sorts and is in some way part of your life. So if your site can give him that kind of feel, he will stick around. A good example of this is a web girl I saw once who would go on her cam fully clothes (the most skin she would show was a belly shirt) and talk to the guys. She knew them by name and kept up on conversations with them. She did private shows for them and the shows would normally last a lot longer and she had a ton of guys in her fan club. Yes, she is good looking, but more importantly she made them feel like they were a vital part of her life and it has paid off nicely for her.

I didn't realize that quantity was better. It's easy to get 70 shots by just not editing out very many so I can do that.

One thing I would like to know is as a sologirl site like this, run by me and not attached to a big program, what should be a realistic income goal? I'm not asking because I care about income and have big hopes, I am more asking because I'd like to have something to compare myself to in order to know if I am doing a good job. There is a pic and someone did repost it as a link for me. I posted one of the photos from facebook but you are probably not seeing it because the dns has not propagated for my site for you yet. For every video I post (12-15 mins long) I will take around 150 pics and edit that down to 60-70 per set. I also try to shoot a behind the scenes vid and post that if it's fun/interestng. Good luck hun!:)

Third, who says I need to earn $1500/wk to be happy with my income? That's $1000 more than I make at my job.
