Anyone going to the UFC/WFA fights in Vegas?
 

To huge fighting events are going on this weekend in Vegas at the same time as the show....

UFC is Friday night
WFA is Saturday night

Is anyone going? Just got my tickets! :)

We're gonna have a pre-fight (and probably after fight party) at our suite in the Aladdin on Saturday night. If anyone wants to drop by, we'll have plenty of drinks flowing....

Might even have a few of the fighters there....

I've been watching the Pride competition more but this UFC looks worth the pay per view. =]

Only problem with UFC is they seem to cancel a lot of their big fights..

Like someone gets injured like 2 weeks before event.. UFC sits on the info till everyone has ordered their ppv and paid for tickets..

Then you get some standin for Tito or something..

That is only thing that pisses me off about UFC..

I think Boneprone had this idea a long time ago or maybe it was someone else. We should put together a UFC for webmasters with different weight classes, etc. Seems like there are a lot of webmasters who are into it.....

We could do it in the center of the Internext trade show floor. Now THAT would be entertaining. Instead of prize money, the winners would get sign-ups from the losers and of coarse, bragging rights :)

When the UFC first came out there were a bunch of people fighting in the tournment.

Yep, I agree....the old format was much better, but I think it was considered to be too "risky" to the fighters. They have had to change a lot of the rules to be allowed to continue these events. Now they have bigger gloves, more rules, etc. In the old days it was just a free for all.......

I'm a huge fan of this sort of thing but haven't had pay-per-view in a few years and I've track of whats going on.

I would love to start a collecting that sortive thing.
