Signed up for CCBill account -- Affiliate ID don't work and tech support has no clue.

I signed up for an account yesterday w/ -- I go to log in w/ my ID -- it don't fucking work... I to "retrieve pw" just in case I forgot my PW -- it says my ID is not there! I call tech support -- they say -- "Gee nothing is there... sign up again..."

I'm thinking this is really fucked up -- I mean how many new webmaster accounts are being lost in limbo... Makes me think twice about fucking using any webmaster referral program under CCBill when the confirmation emails for new webmasters provide bogus or useless information... :(

What the fuck? Well the tech guy said to email him the confirmation email and they are supposed to look into this. I hope they figure out what happened.

Just in case some CCBill engineer guru is reading this -- here's my affiliate ID that vanished into thin air... Affiliate ID: 364249

Ok sending that do you now...

Yeah -- this should be fixed. You can't just let data disappear without explanation. I could see maybe if you let accounts expire if there is no login after X hours, but as of now -- nobody has stated that. As a programmer I'm pretty sure that means there's a bug! :) There's always room for "user error" -- but I checked and double-checked -- the confirmation email is plain as day... BTW here's the email they just sent me:

Actually,
Out of 4 accounts opened with CCBill, different sponsors, I had to sign up twice with three of them.
I agree this is crazy and probably costing some sponsors a few webmasters.

Fly, what program you tried signing up for ?

Bobo 11-18-2002 06:28 PM

Affiliate program...definitately the black sheep of ccbill's otherwise shining enterprise.
