So I keep on getting these really vague creepy emails that are to the effect: "Are you available for modeling work? I can make you big money, but I need your phone # and contact details, including your address and real name so I can book you for some major shoots for major companies"
It's always a variation of that, today it read "I am needing models for multiple shoots I have In March and April I need to know if you are still working because I have you in my database as an available model but if you are not please let me know..If you are available to work I need your CONTACT NUMBER and LINKS to model sites"

I have replied several times asking him for HIS INFO, where he got my email from, including which companies/sites he would like to book me for, who the photographer is, where the location/date/time of the shoots, how much the pay is, etc.. and never get a straight answer from this guy. I have basically told him to fuck off and he does for a couple weeks then starts again. I can imagine he's spamming all sorts of models with this crap and hoping to get some idiots to give out their info to him..

wurrrrdddd.. I wouldn't mind that.. I figure he prob went on GFY or somewhere n collected all of the model emails that he could and figures sooner or later one or 2 girls will fall for it.. actly I wouldnt be surprised if some of these girls DO fall for it LOL..

oh he just sent me another email in reply to all of the questions I asked, this was his only reply:

He sends those out I think to every woman that has an online profile. They are junk. He will not reply back ever with his info. I know a couple of women that asked him for references and he never answered. He also spams MySpace a lot. :winkwink:

I just got the mother fucker on the fone. it was not a pleasant convo. He couldn't even answer my questions then, he got all offensive and weird. I told him he's being reported for spamming and not being a real company and boy did he get mad LOL His reply was "you just said you are reporting me, why would I want to work with you now?" Damnit, looks like I just lost that shoot!! bwahahaha.. ok I'm done here, I've already spent waaaay too much time on this douchebag.

I think everyone that has been sent an e-mail by him would thank you for calling him. Hopefully he will stop sending his spam out. He is just a creep. I do not even want to know what he would really do if a girl was crazy enough to meet him for a shoot. I am sure it would be something horrible. :(

Contact the sites he is on and get him banned.

we started 6 years ago as model agency for amateur and hobby photographers. it's unbelievable what kind of creepy fucks are out there. as a girl you should NEVER deal with any amateur/hobby photographers without doing a background check and/or male company

...Be careful, Aaliyah, if he can't produce his work, etc, or a point of reference for potential talent, then fuck him.

Hey guys, *I* know better, I'm just worried about the naive 18 yr old girls that might not.. I only work with a handful of photogs, and I know each one on a personal level and they are all respected names in the industry.. I wish I could of recorded the convo I had with this guy on the phone for you guys, it was classic :)

I got an email from the same person today for a solo girl site I have. I could see right through it
but like you said, some girl with no experience might get caught off guard.
