anybody else ski this weekend?
 

Kirkwood had it's opening day on saturday. They were open top to bottom with about 6 inches of fluff on about a 4 foot base. Overall a pretty darn nice day, especially since it was sunny and about 45 and not too crowded.

Anybody else do some skiing this weekend? I'm curious what the conditions are like elsewhere around the US/Europe.

no still 10 weekends to wait :(

I was gonna go to Squaw on Sat, but it looked too windy. So my opening day will be on Thanks weekend.

anybody on the east coast? i hear killington has over 63 runs open already, i'm planning a day out there over thanksgiving....

How far is Killington from Toronto?

Rich, according to mapquest, it's about 378.12 miles so 6 hours or so but i'd love to see you there!! The canadien mountains might be a little closer, like Mt-Tremblant or Mt Blanc....

Too bad I'll be on the other coast otherwise I'd offer to race ya, maybe later in the year....
