For those who watch...is it just me or does American IDOL REALLY suck now

i had to stop watching ai this week due to the INSANE amount of commercials, a commercial break after every contestant? please.

naw, i've actually watched the show and like it. it's easy to criticize but one should actually watch something, else their criticizism really is not valid.

I've always said I wait until they get down to the finalists before I watch. So this week I really tried to watch. Honestly I tried. They all are either sucky, no "cute" factor, or just uber lame.
It'll be the guy who sang last who wins. Why? He has n ok voice, he looks like a lump of coal just needing a quick makeover to have the "cute" factor for younger girls, and that is all it takes.

They could end this pathetic ho-down next week.

Youre just catching up with the rest of us who knew it sucked from the start.

And in the fact that his wife just passed away and he's a pretty good lock for Top 3 even before the finals begin.

this is the first time i've ever watched it.... but you all know these 3 aren't the finalists right ? theres like 6 more or something that will be decided next week.

I didnt know his wife passed away. Well I guess that clinches it then. The teen girl swatch of America will vote for him 500 times a night. WHy bother with the rest?
