best software for making website thumbnails/images?
What do you guys use?
I came across http://www.urlcapturer.com/ same guy that created easyflv, curious if anyone else has bought it. or other options |
Well it's probably not exactly the same as the one you posted but I generally just want the full length screencaps so I use Screengrab add-on for FF
|

The real handy thing is, it's a toolbar icon and a right click accessible thing. |
i use a free one on mac called Paparazzi. It does what I need it to do. I then have some droplets created in photoshop that I hit the images it produces with.

arles works great..

+1 for Screengrab!
|
Screengrab is awesome, except when you want to also grab flash stills in the screen... gives you a nice black box.. if they could fix that, it would be absolutely perfect.

Photoshop actions rocks!! Those are the best ones to me!
|
after everyone running their mouths about photoshop actions, i'm still waiting for an explanation of how to screencap a website with a photoshop action. where the fuck is it?
|
got screengrab working, also i bought urlcapturer, and messed around with thumbalizr api, all are good

Arles Image Web Page Creator does very well. If you have used Arles for galleries, everything works the same way. Simply create your settings/template choices, then drag and drop the URLs into Arles File Explorer. Very nice system. You can also tell Arles what size "browser" to emulate to get the perspective you want.
