Back in the day? I still use pico or nano.

pico is wayyy better than vi

i love pico

i have nano and vi currently open in two different terminals, never was much of a pine / pico fan for some reasons, vi / vim is the only way to go if it's properly configured but nano works in a pinch on most servers when their vi / vim install is shit.

Pico and vi. Not sure which one I used first, slept too many days since then.

Two very old friends... I still use nano everyday.

I was a newbie when I used it! Shit, this was before the WWW even existed.

I still use pine. Saves me lots of time when out of office.

I personally prefer vi instead of nano.

Pico is easy for me and love it when I ssh in.

Gopher - wow, haven't seen that term in along time. Before the first browser came out we used to gopher adult stuff, etc :)

i used to.. i have it installed on my servers as kind of a ghetto-exchange service for when im not by the comp... i also still use vi and pico

Yeah, when work was done via a VAX cluster, pine was the only solution. Though I gotta admit, I never tried elm - before my time.
