Ebay?

You could take a look at some vintage Heuer "Carrera"s, IWCs or Jaeger LeCoultre "memovox"

Yeah Fossil is the way to go if you don't care about brands, movements, build quality etc, and just want something that looks good. Check out the outlet stores and they'll have hundreds to choose from.

John-ACWM 02-18-2009 08:08 AM

I have to say this watch looks damn good and I'm not into watches :winkwink:

fuzebox 02-18-2009 08:20 AM

Then again if that's the style you like, and you've got the coin, look no furthur than IWC.

grumpy 02-18-2009 10:43 AM

Rolex, you cant go wrong

todhunter 02-18-2009 11:43 AM

For an inexpensive, elegant watch, you can't beat the Mondaine Swiss Railways Watch. Elegant modern design, easy to read (the face was designed for maximum readability across a Swiss railroad platform) and you'll probably get change back from your $200.

Check your spam folder in your mail client.

Toplessgoat 02-18-2009 01:22 PM

Ebay is a great spot, I've bought several watches on there. Check out IWC watches if you are looking for something that is more classical.

Octopus 02-18-2009 01:30 PM

Bugbee 02-18-2009 01:36 PM

If you like that, check out Skagen. The cool Danish design is original -- I think that Fossil is a knockoff.

Again, $200 or less. I'm cheap, what can I say?

pornask 02-18-2009 09:59 PM

Take a trip to St Maarten. You can't find a cheaper watch with license of authenticity anywhere int he world than there. Rado watches for excellent prices. That's where I bought mine :)

ExLust 02-18-2009 10:10 PM

try at ebay

todhunter 02-19-2009 02:04 PM

If I wanted to go nuts, I'd get something from Vulcain (not available in the U.S.) or maybe the Glycine Airman 7 (although I have no use for three different times + GMT).

In the meantime, it's fun to browse.
