The time finally came yesterday to say good-bye to our beloved Dusty - longtime office mascot here at Kastle Archives Productions.


Our hearts are heavy this weekend. :(

19 years old is a respectable age for a cat. May he rest in peace.

Yep, she lived a full life.

She'd gone deaf a while back, suffered with bad arthritis and her kidneys were starting to fail.

Thanks everyone for the kind condolences - they're much appreciated.

We still have four other cats - Smudge, Casey, Kappy and Bella.

Dusty was our oldest, though...she was always considered my cat since I'd had her all those years. She ate, slept and spent all her time here in my office (I often shared the sofa with her on latenight work marathons).

Awww what a beloved family member! A 19 year old is amazing in and of itself. What a blessed cat and blessed family to have a loving pet for so long. Rip Dusty.

I'm SO sorry!!! I just lost my Duchess last week to liver failure -- It was AWFUL. Good thing I work with great people that were cool with me balling when I got off the phone :-)
