Have you seen Miracle at St. Anna? Great film.
 

I have never liked any of Spike Lee's films, but since I am an avid history buff, particularly that of WWII, I rented Miracle at St. Anna and it was a great film.

The film focuses on four African American soldiers of the 92nd infantry, "Buffalo Soldiers" and takes place in German occupied Italy.

A well put together film.

It was ok, although the whole "Miracle" part was really confusing. And the sleeping man too. Really left unanswered.
The characters were good though.

Watch 25th Hour with Edward Norton. That movie kicks ass and is not your typical racial politics spike lee movie. Really good.
