This is also going to be responsible for $100 ISP bills.

With cable TV it's not really just the channels you are paying for, but the delivery of them. Can you imagine the bandwidth that will be needed to stream legit HDTV over the internet?

That's why some ISP's are putting usage caps on now instead of waiting for things to blow up.

its a nice one, but is there anything similar for europe? hulu says i am an ass and dont have permission to watch :)

all i want to know is when will the FCC and government regulators start censoring the internet. once the dividing line between computers and television becomes more blurred and they literally become the same device you know the government will want to get it's hand into things.

the traditional companies who control what you watch and who are regulated by the government like broadcasting stations will lose more market share in the future to internet based tubish type sites and streaming media sites on the internet. in the end the internet is going to be distribution channel of choice because of it's open source type architecture which isn't OVERLY regulated by government.

you already know the broadcasting stations, traditional media sources, and the government are shitting in their pants and trying to figure out a way to keep control of media distribution and the riches that come with it.

technology is a bitch for government. it free's people while government tries to control and regulate society.

It actually is not that bad, we are doing that now :)

IPTV is a growing market, I agree with Raffi on that.
