Lloyds/HBOS announced yesterday (Friday 13th) two weeks ahead of disclosure date that they are likely to have around £10 billion in losses......

Do you think they sat around the boardroom wondering "when should we announce this?" and then "Oh its Friday 13th lets fucking hit em with it".

Its a fucking disgrace! UK banks are zombies.

I can't stand them either it makes me so angry these pricks are taking bonuses out of public money when they fucked up so bad.

I bank with the co-operative bank, fuck the big four... three? however many there are left

They actually reported the majority of the losses in November/December last year when they made predictions. The final £10B figure was something like £1.5b more than what was expected, from what I read.
