I've never had a problem with dreamhost and I had plenty of problems with "top notch" hosts, just my 2c

Ive heard good and bad things about these guys, might give it a try, even if things dont work out at least you get a new domain to play with...

You get what you pay for, I wouldn't try to save $10/month, go with a real host like phatservers instead, uptime + support is well worth the extra few bucks a month :thumbsup

for easy html why not, another ip for 10usd per year ... but for any script, NO! all scripts there, including the ones they offer as one click install, are working 10% of time, the rest of time its timedout or 500 internal server error. but html is working fine :) thats great, on payed host! :thumbsup

Not sure baddog but that is something else to consider, perhaps it would be best to reg a dummy domain, like dont actually develop the free domain they give you, just in case they decided to play funny with you when you pack up your shit and leave before the year ends.
