Ashley fires I understand what u are sayin,I have a few memberships at a few sites, but u must also understand that people get fed up of being ripped off by big compaines who charge too much.On most sites u have to subscribe and it is a pain to cancel an account and I have had many troubles with my bank taking money out when they was not meant to and blaming the websites i paid for.y cant u pay one month then it stops bcoz they want u not to b bothered to unsubscirbe.the other thing is when i have had a problem with a porn site they take ages to sort out any problem u might have and start to blame the billing company or vicea versa.so u pornstars should make ur websites more fair to the public and use billing compaines that dont muck the public about.I hope u hear what im sayin and take it in to account,im not sayin ur website is like this but alot are.im just tryin to give u feedback.alot of people moan about copying but dont reaslised they could make it better and easier to get the content from them and then people would, take care ashley

If your not willing to pay, for whatever reason, that doesnt mean you can steal. I hope you fuckers get your ass sued.

You all should know that producers of content are now targetting end users who download stolen content.

I hope you all have big bank accounts.

Now anyone that says shady billing practices are not hurting this industry is full off shit...

Make sure when you steal content for your tube site you have your guys download from all the companies that have shady billing practices...!

Well, it's different actually... because he is not saying just that it is expensive: also that they get unwanted rebills. You are never rebilled for a DVD.

Also, it IS true that lower price points for CDs and DVDs work to heighten sales because there ARE people who want to buy but can't afford and then resort to stealing, not everyone has the mindset of the right to have everything for free... also, I am talking from my own experience: down here cd's and dvd's are much more expensive comparatively speaking than they have always been in the US and as a poor film student I waited for the used DVDs from Blockbuster or the sales because I wanted to see the films but simply couldn't afford the special edition DVD when it was just released and it was around the same cost than watching at the theater. And I knew dozens of people in the same situation... and not all were wanting to make films :2 cents:

The biggest sites with the most traffic were doing it and pissing off hundreds, if not thousands of customers a day for a year or more. Most were exposed to it and the rest read about it on porn forums.

Notice that guy said his "bank" would get charged. Many people signed up with debit cards that were directly connected to their checking account. Money they budgeted for other things like food, rent, and car payments were stolen by these scumbag program owners. If I was a surfer and that happened to me I would do all I could to ruin them and if I thought downloading free porn harmed them, I would do it all day long and tell everyone I knew exactly how to do it.

Exactly... That has hurt us more then tubes, torrents, rapidshare... Ect.

Shady billing is the reason people have turned to the alternatives..

And it's actually true for the music industry.

Record companies commercialized bands to the point where music came to be an impersonal product, rather than a personal piece of art. And on top of that, both record companies and successful musicians showed off their wealth in the most tasteless ways possible. through shows like "Cribs". And if that wasn't enough, the record countries actually engaged in illegal price fixing in a number of countries.

For the consumer, that provides a perfect set of moral excuses to infringe copyrights. They don't associate downloading music with hardworking artists missing out on a much-needed paycheck, they associate it with ridiculously rich people who continuously try to screw them over not getting a few extra dollars they don't need anyway.

If you want to dissuade people from infringing upon your copyrights, a good start is to convince them that you're just a hardworking person who's doing his best to make an honest living by providing people with something really good. You won't convert everyone, of course, but you'll reach a fair amount of people.

Note that I am not defending copyright infringement here. Just explaining why a positive image helps prevent it.

bring it down by a hotlink. If some major players link those sites, they will go down

Interesting concept

But do two wrongs make a right?

Just asking.

Excellent post right there. :2 cents:

That's EXACTLY how i feel about the current music industry. One minute we are watching shit like Cribs where talentless assholes show us how great they are and how they live, yet the next minute we are being told that because of piracy, the music industry has no money, and we are killing it...
