Coders, I need a custom script similar to ATpreview
 

Hi fellows...I am in need of a custom script like http://www.atpreview.com/ (free plug :)) ...

The script MUST be able to resize and crop thumbs automatically when the galleries are submitted, and there is one more requirement that ATpreview doesnt have which this script must be able to do (or else I would just buy a bunch ATpreview scripts)

I'm curious... how can you "auto crop" ? What just take
the center of an image and hope?

This is a pretty easy script to write under a unix system.

well, thats a good question...I don't know how you would autocrop, I know ATpreview does it and does a damn good job of it, I'm not a coder, so I have no clue. It is a fairly easy script, there is just one little wildcard that has to be implemented into the script, but overall, it shouldnt be too difficult I would guess

Install the perl mods for;

MIME::Base64
HTML::Parser
URI:URL
and good old libwww

Here's a start for you! This will look at a web page, pick
out the HREF tags and then only print the ones are JPGs.

Next steps you'll need to add,

retrieve the wanted image
thumbnail the image
add the link and image into your HTML
