Epassporte - to continue using, or not?
 

Epassporte has requested documents to prove my identity (random, considering I don't use it much).

I don't trust them with my real name let alone a photocopy of my government issued ID.

Therefore I have a choice - continue using epassporte, or ... not.
What say the GFY jury?

Continue, they only do that per Visa's "Get to know your clients" rule. Not something they want. Paypal does it also.

If my identity is stolen by a group of Filipinos, I'm going to kill both of you.

We are following Visa's know your customer rules that is most likely why you have been asked for documents.

All documents are only accessible to trusted US/Canadian staff no one outside the US/Canada can access your documents.

they will not share the id to any third parties except visa

If you don't want to send your ID's, then you are NOT SERIOUS about your business, and therefore you are suspicious of possible scam or future problems.

Epassporte is a very serious and reputable company, and thus they ask you for those docs.
