you can see it... many can try to dupe it but will fail....
he uses kinoflo lights... 2 of the 4 bay and 1 diva... he also uses a kinoflo camio light.. that and passion for good porn makes thomas top of his class....
great guy.. my buddy has been friends with him since 2002 so I have been a twice removed friend I guess LOL ive been trying to copy it since 02... although he did not have the camio light then....
wait maybe it's kamio I forgot I got one downstairs int he office but to lazy im sick
anyways drop the 6k on lights and you might be able to get somewhere near how he does it... he also have great white balence to the girlComment

it is really simple , it is a ring light that sits around the lens and then he uses a ring light that sits around the video camera lens, battery powered and adjustable,,, it is no secret at all, the pics are all slightly overexposed,,, stop guessing,Comment

the ring light is just a bonus...
also a lot lay in the fact that Paul is a fashion photog and he dosnt let his girls step foot on the set without getting a couple hours in makeup and hair done on them..

If you are gonna get technical they are called 4 foot 4 banks and the camio is also called a ring light so guy in the begining you are also correct. Wow, all peeps here like to do is shut people down. The camios are very interesting to use but almost impossible if you are on manual iris, shutter and focus (unless you are on sticks, tripod) You are kinda stuck on auto iris but it does look so good. Great for stills too. I know alot of people who use the camio on a mono-pod for a clight which really defeats the purpose. Ring lights are super directional light sources that are non functional when you take them off the lens, they are actually very unflattering and clinical. Best bet is to use a small (8") single kino, the bulbs are much softer and are a much cleaner source if your off camera. Just an FYI for GFY

First time I have seen that site. Really nice looking stuff.
But it is not about the type of lights he uses guys. Its about how he uses those lights. Its about ratios and exposure. You can achieve that look with tungsten lights, or Mole's or even HMIs if you know what you are doing.
Clearly this guy has a good eye for lighting and angles. All the gear in the world won't help you if you don't have the eye.
