although not too keen on the ads, they tend to take your attention away from the main purpose of the content of the site, also maybe a little too much info to take in, just my opinion,,

i dig the logo & the color scheme! ..though i'd say the small url in the logo could a bit sharper.

In my opinion the header could be less busy, you've got a nice logo - why not make it slightly larger? And maybe style them blue links more, there are so many of them! :)

It's a bit busy like mentioned before, but it looks okay. I'd hire a designer to clean it up a little. Nice logo btw.

The headlines have some oldskool <HR> dividers. I'd remove them and use CSS to give every 2nd row a different color. It'll look better and it would be easier on the eyes.

The search bar goes almost unnoticed. I'd change the colors on it and make it a bit bigger so people can actually see there's a search function.

There's a lot more things that I'd change, but I have work to do. Good luck!

TOO MANY ADS!!!

There's too much going on and it distracts the reader. Shorten the page so you can increase clickthroughs. Also, prioritize the stories based on CTR (there's scripts that do this). Add an email collection system. Dial down the ads a bit because it gets in the way of readability.

Also, change your URL structure/permalinks so it's more SE-friendly. For more SE traffic, create a lot of reference pages -- maybe biographies of wrestlers, wrestling events background information, information on wrestling movies. Key these towards searched keywords and subkeywords.

I used to run a wrestling site in the 90's. In fact that is how I got started in all of this.

I still remember buying a little HTML book and going over the source code for WrestleZone trying to make sense of how they built it.

I had mine on Expage first, and I would click my toplist link all night long keeping me towards the top. Then I moved to Geocities and then my own domain.

Decent amount of traffic. Why ask these people? They couldn't do this with a wrestling aggregation site.

Who did the logo?

too much info on there for my liking. for a new user it would be daunting and they wouldn't know where to start. I will go out on a limb here and guess that wrestling fans are not the most internet savvy.

It is but not all at once. Lay it out like a newspaper site.

I can say one thing.. anytime I go to a site and my toolbar has to block a few pop ups, I automatically think of the site as a spam page. You already have a ton of ads on the site, lose the pop ups.
