Trying to recall a brand of candy - help appreciated.

Been bugging me now for a few days, one of those damn things that will just not get out of your damn brain until you find the answer. Anyways we are talking a type of candy (not homemade, just store type).

What I remember:
It was a chocolate candy, came in like half globe pieces and I seem to recall a nut in the center that you could see. By half globe I do mean a bowl shape.
They came in 5 in a package if I recall. The tray they were in was gold plastic and it held each bowl shaped candy piece in its own depression. They were not that big, maybe an inch across at most and about maybe a quarter inch in thickness or so. I last recall having some perhaps 15 years ago.

Any clues?

Ferrero Rocher ?

GrouchyAdmin 02-09-2009 03:04 AM

Sounds like Almond Joy, really. There's 2 in a package, but there's 4 separate nuts, at least the last time I had one. Do you remember any nougat or cherry filling or anything else?

After Shock Media 02-09-2009 03:07 AM

Neither of those.

No nougat or other fillings.

About the size of a quarter in diameter. Long rectangle package.

toffifee maybe?

Thank you. I was thinking along that name but google would just pull up toffee stuff.

Hmm guess it did have nougat inside, just not the type I would associate with that word.
The wiki page gives different size packages it was sold in than I recall but those are it for sure. My mind can not get some rest. Though I am positive I will now need to order some soon.

Email me your address and I will make you a custom batch. Since I have neither scent on hand. If you like I will also toss in some new body butter I just finished developing, er OK technically I will alter it again I think. It has a perfect texture right now but to me it still feels a tad oily when first applied (it soaks in fast and doesn't remain greasy). Thinking I need to up the shea, add in some aloe, and perhaps some more natrasorb to reduce drag even more. Never mind all that. Rambling.
Do you like heavy scents or light scents? How would you define your skin type? Are you more a bath or shower person?

Ya being serious. Send the email along with the answers to the questions please.
The soap would require a safe cure time since this would be a custom batch, so figure 4 weeks before usage. However I can make it this coming week when we make our next batches. I can send before it finishes, just do not use it to early or it will not last worth shit. It really needs the time to cure and the longer the better.

sexandcash 02-09-2009 05:09 AM

email SENT!

tranza 02-09-2009 05:49 AM

Had never heard about this tofifee...but it really looks very tasty!

GirlBri 03-08-2009 08:05 PM

did you figure it out?

RRRED 03-08-2009 08:32 PM

That is the ONLY candy I eat. Been my favorite for years. I love the whole hazelnut in the center. The outside of the "cup" is the only gooey part. The inside part under the chocolate is softer and fluffy. I always try to get the chocolate part off the top without breaking it.

MMMMMM you got me wanting to go to the store now. Not sure if the store by my new place has those. They better!

Marcus Aurelius 03-08-2009 08:33 PM

Sounds pretty damn tasty.
