Have you achieved what you wanted to?
Have your dreams come true yet?
Are you as successfull as you thought you would be? Can you pat yourself on the back and go to sleep easily? |
you know what? i dislike my life more than ever before. i always planned on being a multi-millionaire - it has been my goal for the past 6 years.
i've reached it, but i've lost a lot along the way. my gf of 5 years, gone. my brother, who was an enjoyable part of my business, also now gone (by the end of the month). and we are not friends anymore (due to the biz). between 99 and 01 i was the happiest guy in the world - my world rocked. from there on in, i've made more and more money, and been less and less happy. :glugglug |
Sucks to hear quiet... What happened that caused your loved ones to distance themselves? Maybe its not too late to apologize, esp. to your brother
Me, I haven't achieved my dreams yet. I wanna be a multi-millionaire, have a big ass house and beautiful cars. Once I have that, I'll look for the rest (wife, starting a family, etc) |
Not even close.
I need another $250k before I can buy that Ferrari. |
Sorry to hear that quiet. You'll sort it out I'm sure.
"Money does not bring happiness, but it makes the unhappiness more tollerable." |
I am much the same quiet... I set smaller goals with the eventual one to be a millionairre which I know I will do! Cos I won't stop till I get there.
I have reached by short term goal of a consistent $3,000 +(£2,000+) per week income but I am finding the more money I make, the less happy I am... :( |
pushing yourself towards a goal at all costs. worth it, yes or no?
I suggested that the slave gradually moves towards independence of the master. No, the opposite is true. |
if your starting out and struggling then you really have no choice but to work hard as hell. when you do do this you dont socialise and your friends stop asking you out cos your always saying 'sorry, another time. have to work'.

would anyone really be hanging out on gfy if their dreams came true?
ehehehe... even the board whores, not likely. :glugglug |

Money changes you. Specially if you hang around people that dont have the same _ambition_ you have. And it's not the money that's the issue, it's the way you think, the way you make decisions and deal with things that change when you reach a 'higher level'. Thinking big with people around you that have to think small and having to work _hard_ with people around you that, once again, cant fully imagine such an ambition isnt a good thing for all kind of relationships in general. |
i'm not even close to where i thought i'd be. i'm working on aiming for lower goals now, like paying off my car and loans, rather than loftier goals like owning a home or being self-employed (tried it, didn't do well).

I've always wanted to be able to suck my own cock. To date I haven't achieved it.

I would say 6 months ito this business, I am about where I wanted to be. I haven't made a million off porn. Shit, I haven't even made $100,000. But I've built up a nice solid business that pays the mortgage payment each month, and its a big assed house too. :Graucho I already knew beforehand that money isn't everything. I would say I could probably make more money in my "real" job. For me, my venture into porn is more about independence and doing something that is fun. I never heard one person who died, whose last words were "I wish I had more money". |
it's never enough trust me...

if I survive this move, then I will have....

I was gonna say that... Finding my niche within porn completely turned my life around -- and proved that corny adage about if you do what you love the money will follow. I found a way to bring together a lot of different skills that I'd developed over the years but, after hitting a certain point, no longer wanted to work FOR anyone else while using them. I was lucky too, to have hooked up with some well established folks in the biz, initially -- and they helped me kick off in the right direction. And I'll always be grateful for that. We just bought a house, on an island, and live what I guess most folks would call "the good life." So to answer the question: "Yes! Def -- dreams came true." Couldn't be better.:thumbsup (And great question marty.) |
