Digitalpoint forums raised around $70k in donations for server hardware and its not like they were short of money, the owner of DP is worth a ton.

If gfy offered incentives to donate im sure it could raise a hefty amount.

They make SHITLOADS of money from ads. More than enough to buy the fastest servers on the fastest connections and hire programmers, system experts, mods etc x 10 and then still have enough left for other shit and you'd donate for a faster server or something because they refuse to actually spend that money on this forum? Wow.

I'd pay $29.95 a month recurring at $24.95 a month to post here.

If they enabled PM's and invested some money back in the board, I'd happily donate. But the state it is in now I really don't give a shit. I see other boards doing all kinds of cool stuff to keep the activity high and people happy. GFY just seems to be running itself.
